Guardian Group hosts “Code Sprint” competition

Guardian Group host­ed its first “Code Sprint”, an in­no­v­a­tive cod­ing com­pe­ti­tion geared to­ward fos­ter­ing tech ex­cel­lence. The com­pe­ti­tion was aimed at nur­tur­ing and hon­ing the tal­ents of young, tech-savvy in­no­va­tors who came out in their num­bers. Some 16 teams par­tic­i­pat­ed in the com­pe­ti­tion, from sev­er­al ter­tiary ed­u­ca­tion­al in­sti­tu­tions across T&T.

“We firm­ly be­lieve in the vast po­ten­tial of Trinidad and To­ba­go’s bur­geon­ing tal­ent pool, and we are ex­cit­ed to pro­vide an un­par­al­leled plat­form for as­pir­ing tech­nol­o­gists to show­case their prowess and in­ge­nu­ity. Guardian Group’s Code Sprint is not just about com­pe­ti­tion; it’s about fos­ter­ing col­lab­o­ra­tion, fa­cil­i­tat­ing learn­ing, and en­cour­ag­ing per­son­al and pro­fes­sion­al growth,” shared, Alan Sadler, Pres­i­dent, Guardian Shared Ser­vices Lim­it­ed.

The win­ners of Guardian Group’s Code Sprint Com­pe­ti­tion 2023 are:

· 1st Place: Team ZAP: Za­ka­reeyah Ho­sein, Aidan Pinard and Paul Tay­lor

· 2nd Place: Team Re­turn Ze­ro: Nathan Ra­goo­bar, Matthias El­liot and Quin­ton Ale­ong

· 3rd Place: Team Equiox: Monique Brit­to, Jar­rod Moore and Faith Shim
