A 30-year-old woman was shot four times in the back and died on ar­rival at the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex last night.

Po­lice re­port­ed that Dar­ri­ana Dow of Maraj Street, Pasea Ex­ten­sion, was at Strodes Bar around 10.30 pm when she was at­tacked.

Po­lice said that while she was play­ing cards, a gun­man emerged from a Y12 AD Wag­on with li­cense plate PDX 3459 and shot her. The shoot­er then got back in­to the car and es­caped.

An­oth­er woman near­by took Dow to hos­pi­tal, where she was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival.
