The Guyana Ama­zon War­riors will host the Exxon­Mo­bil Guyana Glob­al Su­per League (GSL), sched­uled to take place from Ju­ly 10 to 18 at the icon­ic Prov­i­dence Sta­di­um.

The Ama­zon War­riors, cham­pi­ons of the 2023 Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL), will join four elite fran­chis­es from around the globe as they vie for the pres­ti­gious GSL tro­phy and a share of the US$1 mil­lion prize fund.

The Ama­zon War­riors came close to reach­ing the GSL fi­nal in 2024, falling short on­ly on Net Run Rate af­ter a spir­it­ed cam­paign.

One of the most con­sis­tent teams in CPL his­to­ry, the Ama­zon War­riors have qual­i­fied for the play­offs every year, reach­ing the fi­nal on an in­cred­i­ble sev­en oc­ca­sions. They added yet an­oth­er strong sea­son to their record books by fin­ish­ing as run­ners-up in the 2024 CPL.

Look­ing ahead to an­oth­er thrilling chap­ter, Sir Clive Lloyd, Chair­man of the Exxon­Mo­bil GSL, shared his ex­cite­ment, “The Guyana Ama­zon War­riors were bril­liant hosts for the tour­na­ment in 2024, and I know all the play­ers and vis­it­ing teams ap­pre­ci­at­ed the warm wel­come they re­ceived. Be­yond the crick­et, the War­riors and the peo­ple of Guyana helped show­case this in­cred­i­ble coun­try to the world.
