Sascha Wil­son

An ear­ly morn­ing shoot­ing fol­low­ing an al­ter­ca­tion at a bar in Point Fortin led to the death of a 27-year-old in­no­cent by­stander. The de­ceased is Shaikel St Louis, 27, a sheet met­al in­stal­la­tion work­er at At­lantic LNG.

Ini­tial re­ports stat­ed that around 2:30 am, there was an al­ter­ca­tion at Lev­el 1 Bar, Point Fortin, re­sult­ing in pa­trons ex­it­ing on­to Wick­ham Street, and some­one fired a gun­shot. St Louis, who was not in­volved in the al­ter­ca­tion, got shot, col­lapsed and died on the road. His moth­er lat­er iden­ti­fied his body.
