Businessman and activist, Inshan Ishmael, has died at the age of 57.
He had been battling cancer for the last few years.
His son, Zaakir Ishmael, posted on social media, “Salaams and good morning, I regret to inform [you of] the passing of my dad, Inshan Ishmael. He passed peacefully this morning among his family. Funeral (janazah) arrangements will be posted Inshallah. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him is our return).”
This year he revealed his battle with cancer.
