The au­top­sy for the dri­ver of the Kiss Bak­ing Com­pa­ny has been post­poned un­til Wednes­day leav­ing rel­a­tives dis­ap­point­ed and up­set.

The post­pone­ment, ac­cord­ing to rel­a­tives of Neil Bal­lai, was due to the fail­ure of the po­lice to es­cort the body to the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre on Tues­day morn­ing.

“The po­lice are keep­ing back for us right now from fi­nal­is­ing the last rites and it is very dis­ap­point­ing. We were at the Foren­sic Cen­ter since 7 am and then had to be told to come back to­mor­row ear­ly be­cause the body was still in Cara­pichaima,” Bal­lai’s rel­a­tive said.

She, how­ev­er, praised and thanked the Kiss Bak­ing Com­pa­ny for their as­sis­tance.

” They have been with us, sup­port­ing us so far through it all but it’s the po­lice, they are the ones keep­ing us back. We haven’t even got­ten any up­dates con­cern­ing the in­ves­ti­ga­tion so far.”

Bal­lai died af­ter an­oth­er mo­torist struck his van from be­hind, run­ning it off the Sir Solomon Ho­choy High­way, last Thurs­day morn­ing.
