The Diego Mar­tin Bor­ough Cor­po­ra­tion is ad­vis­ing that the road­way to Fort George is cur­rent­ly im­pass­able due to a land­slide.

The up­date was post­ed to the so­cial me­dia pages of the Min­istry of Rur­al De­vel­op­ment and Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment at 1:10pm.

It said the cor­po­ra­tion’s Dis­as­ter Man­age­ment Unit, along with the rel­e­vant min­istries and agen­cies are on site re­spond­ing to the in­ci­dent. 

Mo­torists are be­ing ad­vised to see al­ter­na­tive routes.
