The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced an extension of cashier operating hours at all Licensing Division offices nationwide, giving members of the public additional time to complete payments for services.
Effective next Monday cashier stations at Licensing Offices will remain open until 3:30 pm daily. The extended hours will apply to payments made by cash, LINX and cheque.
The ministry said the move forms part of ongoing efforts to improve service delivery, increase accessibility and enhance the overall customer experience at Licensing Division offices.
In a statement, the ministry said the additional operating time is intended to provide greater convenience for customers who may have difficulty completing transactions during existing cashier hours.
“The extended hours will apply to cash, LINX, and cheque payments and are intended to provide members of the public with additional time to complete their transactions while enhancing the overall customer service experience,” the ministry said.
The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said it would continue implementing measures aimed at improving the efficiency and accessibility of services offered through the Licensing Division.
The announcement comes as public service agencies continue efforts to reduce delays and improve access to government services, particularly in areas involving high volumes of customer transactions.
Members of the public are encouraged to make use of the extended cashier hours from July 20 as the ministry continues its drive to improve the delivery of licensing services nationwide.
