A sales clerk was robbed of over $4,000 at her work­place on Wednes­day, Oc­to­ber 5.

Ac­cord­ing to ini­tial re­ports, the rob­bery took place around 3:55 pm while the 26-year-old woman was con­duct­ing sales at Blue Notes Lot­to Booth at Cof­fee Street, San Fer­nan­do.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, a man wear­ing a blue t-shirt and white cap walked up to the ser­vice win­dow, placed a black plas­tic bag through the slot win­dow and an­nounced a rob­bery.

He re­port­ed­ly de­mand­ed that the sales clerk place all the mon­ey in the bag.  Fear­ful for her safe­ty, she put $ 4,672—which was the day's sales—in the bag and gave it to the sus­pect.

The sus­pect grabbed the bag and ran off.
