Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the shoot­ing deaths of a 23 year old man in Arou­ca.

Re­ports say at around 5:30pm yes­ter­day Dwight Hug­gins of Bon Air Arou­ca was seat­ed at a restau­rant lo­cat­ed at Camp­bell Lane Bon Air Arou­ca when he was ap­proached by a masked gun­man who fired sev­er­al shots at him hit­ting about the body.

He at­tempt­ed to run but slumped to the ground a short dis­tance away.

The gun­man the made good his es­cape.

A mo­tive for the killing is yet to be es­tab­lished.
