A 50-year-old man was granted bail in the sum of $50,000 by Justice of the Peace Stephen Young, after he was arrested and charged with Fraudulent Conversion.
He is expected to appear at the Port of Spain Magistrate’s Court on March 31.
The accused, Lester Herrera (of Barataria), was arrested on Thursday, March 9, and charged with the offence.

A report was made to the Fraud Squad and an investigation was launched by WPC Walkes, and as a result, the accused was charged for the offence of Fraudulent Conversion of $20,000 on March 10, 2023.
