A 25-year-old Pleas­antville man was beat­en and robbed dur­ing a day­light home in­va­sion on Mon­day.

Around 1:20 p.m., the vic­tim heard a noise and went to in­ves­ti­gate, on­ly to find a sus­pect climb­ing through a bro­ken bed­room win­dow.

The sus­pect an­nounced a rob­bery and took the vic­tim’s red iPhone 11, val­ued at $2,500. An­oth­er sus­pect climbed through the win­dow while a third hand­ed them a piece of wood and a bag.

They or­dered the vic­tim to lie on the floor and beat him with the piece of wood as they ran­sacked the house.

The as­sailants stole $1,500 in cash and a black Sam­sung tablet be­fore es­cap­ing through the front door.
