A Valencia couple were tied up and robbed by bandits who stormed their home early on Sunday morning.
Police said the 39-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were asleep at their Rosewood Drive home at around 2 am, when three armed bandits awoke them.
The couple were tied up with wire as the man was pistol-whipped. The bandits stole $1,500 in cash and the keys to their white Nissan B15 before escaping in the stolen car.
The couple eventually freed themselves and were taken to hospital by a neighbour.
Shortly after, officers of the Eastern Division Task Force found the car abandoned on the Valencia Old Road and later towed it to the Valencia Police Post for further analysis.
Investigators said the man is in stable condition and was awaiting the results of a CT scan as of Monday.
Officers of the Valencia CID are continuing enquiries.
