Days of al­leged bick­er­ing among sib­lings end­ed in mur­der on Tues­day af­ter­noon, when a 20-year-old man was blud­geoned to death with a piece of iron.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 2 pm, Josi­ah Hoard was beat­en to death by a male rel­a­tive while at his home at Mendez Trace, Paramin, Mar­aval.

Res­i­dents in the area re­port­ed­ly told po­lice that both men had been heard quar­relling for sev­er­al days un­til the es­ca­la­tion of the dead­ly fight on Tues­day.

How­ev­er, a mo­tive is yet to be es­tab­lished for the killing.

The sus­pect has been de­tained and is as­sist­ing the po­lice with their in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
