A man found dead near the San­ta Rosa Heights in­ter­sec­tion is be­lieved to be the vic­tim of a hit-and-run ac­ci­dent. The vic­tim has been iden­ti­fied as Shamie Ja­gas­sar. Ja­gas­sar was found un­re­spon­sive on Sun­day at about 2.30 pm.

Po­lice sources said there’s not much de­tails sur­round­ing the cir­cum­stances but has as­sured his rel­a­tives that they are in­ves­ti­gat­ing. Mean­while, rel­a­tives of the vic­tim are call­ing on any­one with footage or in­for­ma­tion to come for­ward to the po­lice. They are al­so call­ing on the dri­ver they al­leged is re­spon­si­ble for Ja­gas­sar’s death to sur­ren­der him­self to the in­ves­ti­gat­ing of­fi­cers.
