A man be­lieved to be home­less was knocked down and killed dur­ing a road traf­fic ac­ci­dent near the Grand Bazaar Over­pass in Val­sayn on Sun­day.

The uniden­ti­fied man, who was of African de­scent, was seen ly­ing on the road around 5 am.

Po­lice de­scribed the man as light brown in com­plex­ion and bald­ing with a full grey beard. The vic­tim was in a grey t-shirt and long black pants with grey and white shoes.

Blood was seen ooz­ing from the vic­tim’s left ear, while there were cuts to the cen­tre of his head and right el­bow.

Ve­hic­u­lar de­bris was seen ap­prox­i­mate­ly 100 feet from the body.
