Days af­ter two chil­dren were shot in San­gre Grande af­ter a gun­man stormed a wake, an­oth­er child was shot in a sep­a­rate in­ci­dent in Kel­ly Vil­lage on Sat­ur­day.

In the San­gre Grande in­ci­dent last Wednes­day, two chil­dren ages three and six were among sev­en peo­ple shot at a wake. They re­mained hos­pi­talised up to last Thurs­day.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, around 2.30 pm on Sat­ur­day a gun­man ex­it­ed a white Nis­san and en­tered a yard at Kel­ly Vil­lage, Ca­roni, and fired sev­er­al shots killing 24-year-old Shevon Gaye of Hy­draulic Road, Kel­ly Vil­lage.

Three-year-old Adi­no Gaye was al­so shot in the ab­domen while his fa­ther An­tho­ny Gaye was shot in the foot and arm.

Po­lice are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
