A 39-year-old Forestry Division worker was gunned down in Champs Fleurs on Thursday afternoon.
Police said residents reported hearing gunshots and the sound of a car speeding off around 2 pm on Hutton Street. They saw Michel Bousigard running shortly after.
He was bleeding from gunshot wounds. They took him to Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he was declared at 2.24 pm.
Police from the St Joseph CID visited the scene and found 13 spent 9 mm shells and a bullet fragment.
Police from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II are continuing enquiries.
