Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the mur­der of 32-year-old Ale­do Roberts, who was gunned down out­side his home in Waller­field on Fri­day night.

Around 10 p.m., Roberts was re­port­ed­ly sit­ting along Red Gran­ite Street when a white ve­hi­cle with two masked oc­cu­pants stopped near­by. One of the men got out and opened fire be­fore re­turn­ing to the car, which sped off.

Roberts was found in­side his home with gun­shot wounds to the chest, back and but­tocks. A neigh­bour took him to the Ari­ma Health Fa­cil­i­ty, where he was pro­nounced dead at 10:27 p.m.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors re­cov­ered sev­er­al spent shells and pro­jec­tiles at the scene. Po­lice en­quiries are on­go­ing.
