A 27-year-old man died after being shot early Wednesday morning in Curepe.
The victim was identified as Shelton Sharewood, 27.
According to a police report, at about 2 am Sharewood who was liming by a bar in Curepe was shot in the chest by a masked gunman.
He was taken to the Eric Williams Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Relatives who were at the Forensic Science Centre in St James for the autopsy refused to speak with the media.
Police investigators said the motive appeared to be gang-related.
His killing was recorded as number 334.
Meanwhile, Monday’s murder victim has been identified as Khary Vialva.
Vialva was shot dead during a drive-by shooting at Seventh Avenue in Malick on Monday evening.
Police are yet to determine a motive for his murder.
