A 31-year-old Mar­aval man is this coun­try's lat­est road fa­tal­i­ty.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, at around 1:30 on Sat­ur­day morn­ing, Alex­is Sin­ner of Pine­hurst Dri­ve Fair­ways was dri­ving his pur­ple Nis­san Ti­i­da along St Lu­cien Road in Diego Mar­tin, when he lost con­trol of the ve­hi­cle and came in­to con­tact with a con­crete col­umn.

Both Sin­ner and an­oth­er oc­cu­pant from Diego Mar­tin were eject­ed from the ve­hi­cle on­to the road­way.

Sin­ner died at the scene and the oth­er oc­cu­pant was tak­en to the Port of Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal.
