Massy Group

The Massy Group hosted the Japanese ambassador to T&T, Dr. Akima Umezawa, at Massy Group’s Port of Spain head office recently.

This visit highlighted the longstanding relationship between the Massy Group and several major Japanese companies, including Nissan Motor Corporation, which the Group has represented in T&T for over 50 years.

During the visit, Dr. Umezawa met with key executives of the Massy Group: David Affonso, President & Group CEO; James McLetchie, Vice President & Deputy Group CEO; Vaughn Martin, Executive Vice President & CEO of the Massy Gas Products portfolio; and Marc Rostant, Executive Vice President & CEO of the Massy Motors & Machines portfolio.

The discussions focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration in various sectors, including technology, energy, and sustainable development.

Affonso expressed his enthusiasm about the potential for future partnerships, stating, "We are delighted to welcome His Excellency to our headquarters. This visit underscores the importance of international cooperation and our shared commitment to innovation and growth. We look forward to exploring new avenues for collaboration that will benefit both our nations."

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing optimism about the future and the potential for impactful collaborations.
