Trinidad and To­ba­go na­tion­als who died in the First and Sec­ond World Wars were re­mem­bered yes­ter­day for their ser­vice in yes­ter­day’s Memo­r­i­al Day ob­ser­vances at Memo­r­i­al Park.

Pres­i­dent Paula-Mae Weekes, Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley and Chief Jus­tice Ivor Archie were among those lay­ing wreaths at the ceno­taph.

The event, which oc­curs on the sec­ond Sun­day in No­vem­ber, was toned down this year be­cause of COVID-19 re­stric­tions.
