Homi­cide de­tec­tives are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the dou­ble mur­der of the own­ers of a mi­ni-mart in Pe­nal. 

Radick Ajod­ha, 31,  and Jenelle Thomp­son, 36, of Rock Road, own­ers of Jenoie's Mi­ni Mart were shot dead at their prop­er­ty last night. 

Ini­tial re­ports stat­ed that short­ly be­fore 11 pm an anony­mous caller con­tact­ed po­lice about a shoot­ing at Rock Road near Hope Trace. 

When the of­fi­cers ar­rived at the scene, res­i­dents di­rect­ed them to the premis­es where they found Ajod­ha's body at the back of the shop. Thomp­son's body was in­side the busi­ness place. Po­lice found 16  5.56 spent shells at the scene. 

Of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions, Re­gion 3, ERP,  South West­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force and Pe­nal Po­lice Sta­tion vis­it­ed the scene.
