A Mor­vant teenag­er who re­port­ed­ly raped an 11-year-old girl mul­ti­ple times on sep­a­rate oc­ca­sions back in 2024, was yes­ter­day be­ing sought by po­lice for ques­tion­ing.

The 16-year-old sus­pect of La­dy Young Road, Mor­vant, was al­leged to have com­mit­ted the acts on the Stan­dard Five pupil be­tween De­cem­ber 1 to 31, 2024, whilst she was vis­it­ing her cousin who lives at his house.

The vic­tim’s fa­ther re­port­ed­ly learned of the acts on April 26, fol­low­ing which he im­me­di­ate­ly re­port­ed the mat­ter to of­fi­cers at the Mor­vant Po­lice Sta­tion.

The vic­tim told po­lice that while vis­it­ing her cousin last De­cem­ber, she went to the bath­room when the sus­pect fol­lowed her, pushed her against a wall and be­gan kiss­ing her and touch­ing her breast.

She al­leged­ly told him to stop but he pro­ceed­ed to cov­er her mouth with one hand while re­mov­ing her pants and un­der­wear with his oth­er hand, fol­low­ing which he al­leged­ly bent her over the sink and had raped her for about five min­utes.

He or­dered her not to tell any­one.

The girl fur­ther re­port­ed that it was not the first time the sus­pect had raped her.
