Twen­ty-five-year-old De­niel Rechi­er of Pa­lo Seco has been charged with mur­der­ing her sev­en-year-old daugh­ter Mc Ken­zie Hope Rechi­er. She is ex­pect­ed to ap­pear be­fore a Siparia Mag­is­trate to­day. She was charged with the of­fence fol­low­ing ad­vice re­ceived from Act­ing Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions, Joan Hon­ore-Paul yes­ter­day. 

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports,  the un­re­spon­sive body of Mc Ken­zie Hope Rechi­er was found at her Pa­lo Seco home, on Au­gust 20t, by of­fi­cers of the San­ta Flo­ra Po­lice Sta­tion. A fe­male rel­a­tive was ar­rest­ed in con­nec­tion with the in­ci­dent on that same date. It is be­lieved the child died on Au­gust 19th. 

 In­ves­ti­ga­tions were su­per­vised by Supt. Dhilpaul, ASP Per­sad and In­sp. Jones, all of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions (HBI), Re­gion Three. Rechi­er was charged by PC Bho­la, al­so of HBI Re­gion Three.
