Mem­ber of Par­lia­ment for Cu­mu­to/Man­zanil­la Dr. Rai Rag­bir says the Man­zanil­la Road is cur­rent­ly im­pass­able. He says this is due to heavy flood­ing which oc­curred due to the heavy rains that oc­curred dur­ing the past week.  

He ad­vised the use of al­ter­na­tive routes such as the Cu­napo South­ern Main Road San­gre Grande and through the Plum Mi­tan Road.  

In a press re­lease is­sued to­day, the MP says he has tak­en note of the re­cent amount of flood­ing and land­slips with­in the Con­stituen­cy of Cu­mu­to/Man­zanil­la, and wish­es to en­sure the con­stituents that he is pur­su­ing these mat­ters dili­gent­ly and ur­gent­ly to bring re­lief to the res­i­dents.
