The Bayshore Mul­ti-Pur­pose Life Skills Cen­tre has of­fi­cial­ly opened to serve the com­mu­ni­ty known lo­cal­ly as ‘the line’ in Mara­bel­la.

In a state­ment, the Dig­i­cel Foun­da­tion says the Cen­tre was es­tab­lished to en­sure that res­i­dents of Bayshore can eas­i­ly ac­cess on­line ser­vices and train­ing in vo­ca­tion­al skills, set­ting them up for vi­able em­ploy­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties and fu­ture suc­cess.

"The Bayshore Mul­ti-Pur­pose Life Skills Cen­tre is the first and on­ly fa­cil­i­ty of its kind in the area. Ren­o­vat­ed on the site of a space owned by a branch of the Open Bible Church, the Cen­tre boasts a ful­ly-equipped com­put­er room with free high speed in­ter­net cour­tesy Dig­i­cel Plus.

It al­so cur­rent­ly of­fers com­put­er train­ing for all ages, home­work as­sis­tance, sewing class­es, and flo­ral arrange­ment class­es, with plans un­der­way to add more train­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties to the sched­ule soon." the Dig­i­cel Foun­da­tion said.
