Re­gion­al Car­ni­val is get­ting more mon­ey. The news was re­vealed by NCC Co­or­di­na­tor Fredrick Har­ris when he spoke on Sat­ur­day at the 2024 Prize Giv­ing Cer­e­mo­ny for the Ch­agua­nas Bor­ough Car­ni­val Com­mit­tee (CBCC).

Har­ris said he was im­pressed with cel­e­bra­tions in Ch­agua­nas. He said 2024 was his first year work­ing and ex­pe­ri­enc­ing Car­ni­val in Cen­tral “ I at­tend­ed 3 meet­ings with the com­mit­tee and I was al­so at the launch by the (Ch­agua­nas) Mar­ket. That was an ex­pe­ri­ence, I en­joyed every mo­ment.” Har­ris said Ch­agua­nas cel­e­bra­tions on Car­ni­val Tues­day was im­pres­sive

“I en­joyed the af­ter­noon, for 2025 the NCC is putting out more mon­ey for lo­cal par­tic­i­pa­tion. The lo­cal peo­ple, we want to en­cour­age the car­ni­val in every com­mu­ni­ty.”

Har­ris of­fered his deep­est thanks to the Ch­agua­nas Bor­ough Car­ni­val Com­mit­tee for mak­ing the event a suc­cess “ Cul­ture is more valu­able than oil and gas, keep work­ing.”
