From midnight tonight, public transport will move from 75 per cent capacity to 50 per cent capacity and all construction will cease until May 23rd.

This from Minister in the office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young who was speaking during the Prime Minister’s press conference this afternoon. Young said the Government is asking everyone to stay at home as much as possible and work from home wherever possible. He said all establishments will be required to close at 8pm.

All supermarkets, pharmacies and hardwares that fall under the essential service list have no more than 50 per cent capacity.

He said Pricesmart and other retail services that operate on a membership basis will be allowed to open but only to sell grocery items, food and essential items.

He issued a warning to restaurant owners to cease all delivery services, as he said this is not allowed under the current regulations. The full list of essential services and workers will be published by the Office of the Prime Minister.
