This was confirmed by the Authority in a statement on Friday afternoon. WASA said that CEO (Ag) Kelvin Romain and the current executive team will continue in service.

On August 30, WASA announced the appointment of Mr. Keithroy Halliday to the position of Chief Executive Officer, with his effective assumption of office on November 1.

However, according to WASA, Halliday has requested a brief one-month deferment before officially assuming his leadership role at WASA.

"This extension will allow him to address certain crucial commitments in his current position and ensure a smooth leadership transition," the statement said.
