Rel­a­tives of chut­ney star Nisha Bis­samb­har pop­u­lar­ly known as Nisha B are thank­ing God that she sus­tained no bro­ken bones due to her fall off the stage at Mo­ka Fete over the week­end.

The in­ci­dent oc­curred on Sun­day night mere sec­onds af­ter she was in­tro­duced on stage to per­form.

Bis­samb­har’s sis­ter, Nil­li is­sued a state­ment on so­cial me­dia thank­ing all for the well wish­es for her sis­ter.

She said Nisha B was giv­en pain re­liev­ers, and mus­cle re­lax­ers and is rest­ing com­fort­ably.

“For every­one try­ing to reach her, just let­ting you know she does not have her phone at the mo­ment. Thanks again for the love, pos­i­tive vibes and com­fort­ing words and a spe­cial thank you to the in­di­vid­u­als who rushed to her as­sis­tance,” Nil­li said.

Nil­li, how­ev­er, ex­pressed dis­ap­point­ment in those who chose to share the video of her fall, mak­ing fun of it and even cre­at­ing memes.

“It takes a re­al­ly rot­ten per­son to find joy in any per­son’s mis­for­tune. I’ve even seen a per­son com­ment that she de­served it. Like what could she have pos­si­bly done to this per­son to make them feel that she de­served to fall off a stage and get hurt while she was do­ing her job,” Nil­li said.

“I’m re­al­ly dis­turbed tonight, but I find com­fort in know­ing there are still good, car­ing hu­mans out there, and not every­one is un­kind. Thank you again to every­one who have reached out and wished her well,” she added.
