The founder of the Nu­trim­ix Group of Com­pa­nies, Sha­heed Mo­hammed, died yes­ter­day.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­lease from the com­pa­ny, the fu­ner­al arrange­ments will be an­nounced at a lat­er date.

When con­tact­ed, Mo­hammed’s son Ron­nie de­clined to com­ment at the time on his fa­ther’s pass­ing.

Un­der the an­nounce­ment on their Face­book page, over 100 well­wish­ers ex­tend­ed con­do­lences to the fam­i­ly and shared fond mem­o­ries of Mo­hammed, who was 73.

Ashraff Ho­sein said: “I learnt a lot from Mr Sha­heed and I clear­ly re­mem­ber the 1st day I joined the Com­pa­ny, he didn’t know me yet but he sin­gled me out from every­one and said come over you’re mov­ing me in my ve­hi­cle to the restau­rant where all the in­vi­tees to the Nu­trim­ix Flour Mills were al­so in­vit­ed to have lunch with him. A true busi­ness­man who was ded­i­cat­ed to the suc­cess of the Nu­trim­ix group of Com­pa­nies. May his soul RIP and may his fam­i­ly re­main com­fort­ed know­ing that he is in a bet­ter place.”

Faith Singh said he touched many lives with his wis­dom and knowl­edge.

“I thank God that I had the priv­i­lege to cross his path as a friend and col­league in life jour­ney.”

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from oth­er com­pa­nies al­so used the op­por­tu­ni­ty to of­fer their con­do­lences to the fam­i­ly. (RK)
