Omega Advanced School for Interdisciplinary Studies (Oasis) Institute of Higher Learning, formerly Oasis University located at Anapausis, Upper Mohammed Street, Curepe recently held its annual graduation ceremony. Oasis is a non-profit, non-sectarian, post-graduate institute of higher earning with the passion to build a community of lifelong scholars committed to positive social change. Oasis offers three Masters' Degree programmes, conveniently timed to facilitate working adults. The ceremony was one of pomp, glamour and glitter as each graduate received their certificate from Chancellor Dr Hollis L Green ThD, PhD.
Also in attendance were the Chairman of Oasis, Dr Subesh Ramjattan who was conferred with an honorary doctorate at the function, Vice Chancellor and CEO, Dr Paratan Balloo, Dphil, Dr Dennison Bhola of the University of Nebraska, Dr Clarena Spencer, Academic Dean/ Registrar and Dr Steve Mohammed, Chief Academic Officer. Delivering the feature address was Mrs Teresa Davidson, Director of Funding and Grants Administration Division at the Ministry of Science, Technology & Tertiary Education.
