The Christ­mas edi­tion of the On the Pavers Con­certs se­ries host­ed by the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion will be back—on the pavers at Ed­u­ca­tion Tow­er on St Vin­cent Street in Port of Spain—this Fri­day, De­cem­ber 6, 2024.

Con­cert time is 12 noon to 1:30 pm.

The pop­u­lar lunchtime se­ries will fea­ture per­for­mances by pri­ma­ry and sec­ondary school stu­dents, show­cas­ing their tal­ents in dance, tas­sa, dra­ma, and steel pan, as well as dis­plays of var­i­ous art­forms.

This year’s Christ­mas edi­tion of the On the Pavers Con­certs se­ries builds on the suc­cess of the “Parang on the Pavers” and "Car­ni­val on the Pavers" se­ries over the past cou­ple of years, all of which are key el­e­ments of its Cul­tur­al Trans­for­ma­tion Ini­tia­tive.

Both Min­is­ters of Ed­u­ca­tion—Dr. Nyan Gads­by-Dol­ly MP and Lisa Mor­ris-Ju­lian MP—will be at­tend­ing this Fri­day’s con­certs.
