Yesterday's storm is still creating a headache for T&TEC workers throughout Northwest Trinidad.
T&TEC says its crews worked overnight to attend to 38 outage reports.
Falling trees damaged overhead lines and some poles.
Even as eleven crews worked to complete restoration, additional reports of outages have emerged and some areas are still without electricity.
According to T&TEC those areas without supply: Barataria, Belmont, Blanchisseuse, Cascade, Chaguaramas, Diego Martin, Laventille, Maraval, Morvant, Paramin, San Juan, Santa Cruz, and St Ann’s.
T&TEC says more crews are being dispatched from other distribution areas this morning to complete the restoration efforts.
T&TEC apologised saying, "Please be assured that we are applying all necessary resources to ensure restoration is completed today."
