Yes­ter­day's storm is still cre­at­ing a headache for T&TEC work­ers through­out North­west Trinidad.

T&TEC says its crews worked overnight to at­tend to 38 out­age re­ports.

Falling trees dam­aged over­head lines and some poles.

Even as eleven crews worked to com­plete restora­tion, ad­di­tion­al re­ports of out­ages have emerged and some ar­eas are still with­out elec­tric­i­ty.

Ac­cord­ing to T&TEC those ar­eas with­out sup­ply: Barataria, Bel­mont, Blan­chisseuse, Cas­cade, Ch­aguara­mas, Diego Mar­tin, Laven­tille, Mar­aval, Mor­vant, Paramin, San Juan, San­ta Cruz, and St Ann’s.

T&TEC says more crews are be­ing dis­patched from oth­er dis­tri­b­u­tion ar­eas this morn­ing to com­plete the restora­tion ef­forts.

T&TEC apol­o­gised say­ing, "Please be as­sured that we are ap­ply­ing all nec­es­sary re­sources to en­sure restora­tion is com­plet­ed to­day."
