The Penal PowerGen Mass Vaccination site will be closed today, Monday 6th September 2021, due to flood waters in the roads surrounding the site.

An advisory from the South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) notes that persons whose second dose appointments were scheduled for today, will be rescheduled and/or accommodated at the Penal site tomorrow, Tuesday September 7th.

In addition, the SWRHA also is encouraging those wishing to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to visit the SAPA Mass vaccination site to receive their vaccine.

Members of the public are encouraged to call the SWRHA’s Customer Care Centre at 877-9742 for service assistance.

During my consultation with Ms Brafit CEO Nicole Joseph-Chin, what was supposed to be a simple mastectomy bra fitting became something much deeper. Her thoughtful questions unlocked emotions I didn’t even realise I was holding in. She comforted, reassured, and helped me face the truth of what was coming. That bra wasn’t just clothing—it was the first real symbol of life after surgery.
