Former West Indies coach, Phil Simmons, is the new head coach of the Trinbago Knight Riders franchise.
TKR made the announcement via a social media post on Tuesday morning.
In October last year, Simmons quit as West Indies coach after the regional side's 'unfathomable' World Cup exit.
His last assignment was the two Test matches in Australia which were in November last year. The regional side lost the series 2-0.
Simmons' second time as Windies coach started in October 2019.
