A 71-year-old pro­pri­etor was robbed of $6,000 at his Play Whe booth in Clax­ton Bay on Fri­day.

The ini­tial re­port stat­ed that short­ly af­ter 4 pm he was stand­ing in front of his busi­ness place when two men ac­cost­ed him and forced him in­to the booth.

They slapped him and robbed him of the day's earn­ings that was in a cab­i­net draw­er.

The sus­pects ran off out of the busi­ness place along Di­a­mond Road.
