The Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter has con­firmed that Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley has con­tract­ed COVID-19 again, but it ap­pears that be­ing vac­ci­nat­ed is work­ing in his favour.

The PM's Of­fice is­sued a short state­ment on the mat­ter, a short while ago...

"Prime Min­is­ter Dr the Hon Kei­th Row­ley test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19 this morn­ing. The Prime Min­is­ter who is ful­ly-vac­ci­nat­ed and re­ceived two boost­ers, is ex­pe­ri­enc­ing very mild symp­toms.  Dr Row­ley will re­main in iso­la­tion in keep­ing with the cur­rent COVID-19 pro­to­cols."

The state­ment added:

"The Prime Min­is­ter has can­celled all of his en­gage­ments over the up­com­ing pe­ri­od.  How­ev­er, the Eman­ci­pa­tion func­tion card­ed for to­day at the Diplo­mat­ic Cen­tre will be host­ed by mem­bers of the Cab­i­net."
