Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has congratulated students across Trinidad and Tobago on receiving their 2025 SEA results, telling them they have already achieved something remarkable by showing resilience and dedication.
In a message to mark the occasion, the Prime Minister reminded students that exam results do not define their worth. “What truly matters is your determination to grow, your willingness to learn, and your belief in yourself,” she said.
Persad-Bissessar reaffirmed her government’s commitment to education, highlighting the promise to provide every incoming Form One student with a free laptop in September. She said the initiative aims to ensure equal access to knowledge, technology and opportunity for all children.
She also praised parents, guardians and teachers for their unwavering support, saying their role has been essential to the success of the nation’s children.
“This is only the beginning of a bright and beautiful journey ahead,” she said, encouraging students to take pride in their efforts and remain focused as they begin the next stage of their education.
“No matter which school you go to, with continued effort and support, you will succeed. Be proud, keep shining, and know that the future is yours.”
