Po­lice ar­rest­ed two ban­dits who were in the process of break­ing in­to a bar in South Oropouche yes­ter­day.

Po­lice say around 2 am, of­fi­cers of Oropouche Po­lice Sta­tion re­ceived a re­port of a break-in in progress at a bar lo­cat­ed at St Mary’s Vil­lage, South Oropouche.

Of­fi­cers re­spond­ed and sur­round­ed the premis­es. They en­tered the build­ing and found two men who sur­ren­dered. Po­lice seized $11,395 in cash, be­lieved to be stolen from gam­ing ma­chines, a pis­tol and 12 rounds of nine-mil­lime­tre am­mu­ni­tion. Two men, aged 24 and 31, were de­tained.
