South­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force (SDTF) of­fi­cers ar­rest­ed three in­di­vid­u­als and re­cov­ered a stolen ve­hi­cle and ve­hi­cle parts dur­ing op­er­a­tions on Sat­ur­day.

Around 5:30 pm of­fi­cers ex­e­cut­ed a search war­rant for stolen ar­ti­cles at a garage lo­cat­ed at 6th Com­pa­ny Vil­lage, In­di­an Walk, Princes Town. Of­fi­cers found and seized two Hyundai/Kia en­gines, two cabs, and one tray be­long­ing to Hyundai H100 ve­hi­cles. Two self-em­ployed straight­en­ers, aged 51 and 49, were ar­rest­ed and tak­en to the San Fer­nan­do Po­lice Sta­tion.

Ear­li­er that day, of­fi­cers in­ter­cept­ed a ve­hi­cle bear­ing false plates, trav­el­ing south along the Sir Solomon Ho­choy High­way, near the Torou­ba Over­pass. Checks were made to as­cer­tain the cor­rect reg­is­tra­tion of the ve­hi­cle and it was re­vealed to be stolen from the St. Clair dis­trict on 26th Au­gust, 2023. The dri­ver, a 22-year-old from Gulf View, La Ro­main, was ar­rest­ed. En­quiries are con­tin­u­ing.
