Nicholas Pooran has been ap­point­ed cap­tain of the Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers for the up­com­ing CPL sea­son.

The fran­chise con­firmed the de­ci­sion to­day, say­ing the wick­et-keep­er bats­man will take over lead­er­ship du­ties as the team looks to re­claim the CPL ti­tle. Pooran, who has played for TKR since 2023, brings in­ter­na­tion­al ex­pe­ri­ence from rep­re­sent­ing the West In­dies in all for­mats, as well as pre­vi­ous cap­tain­cy stints at both fran­chise and na­tion­al lev­el.
