POS Christmas anti-crime plan now in effect

The Port-of-Spain City Po­lice launched it’s Christ­mas an­ti-crime plan yes­ter­day.

Un­der the su­per­vi­sion of Su­per­in­ten­dent Charles and in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice, the Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice con­duct­ed their Day of Polic­ing.

“What we will be see­ing to­day is of­fi­cers strate­gi­cal­ly placed at all lo­ca­tions through­out the city. Thus far we have is­sued 10 fixed penal­ty no­tices, three face mask no­tices. One per­son was ar­rest­ed for dri­ving a ve­hi­cle who was nev­er is­sued a valid dri­ver’s per­mit and al­so with­out in­sur­ance,” said Cor­po­ral Ma­haraj of the Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice.
