Chair­man of the Princes Town Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion, Gowrie Roop­nar­ine, is call­ing on WASA to swift­ly re­store the sup­ply of wa­ter to San­cho Road, School Trace and near­by en­vi­rons since it has been more than three weeks since these ar­eas in the Princes Town Re­gion have been with­out a prop­er sup­ply of pipe-borne wa­ter.

He says due to the lack of a prop­er sup­ply of wa­ter, over five hun­dred homes in these ar­eas have been se­vere­ly af­fect­ed.

In an at­tempt to al­le­vi­ate this frus­trat­ing sit­u­a­tion, the Princes Town Cor­po­ra­tion have been as­sist­ing the res­i­dents with truck-borne wa­ter but due to the high de­mand, the Cor­po­ra­tion can­not ser­vice the en­tire area.

Chair­man is urg­ing WASA to rec­ti­fy this prob­lem and re­store wa­ter for the res­i­dents of San­cho Road, School Trace and near­by en­vi­rons.
