Chairman of the Princes Town Regional Corporation, Gowrie Roopnarine, is calling on WASA to swiftly restore the supply of water to Sancho Road, School Trace and nearby environs since it has been more than three weeks since these areas in the Princes Town Region have been without a proper supply of pipe-borne water.
He says due to the lack of a proper supply of water, over five hundred homes in these areas have been severely affected.
In an attempt to alleviate this frustrating situation, the Princes Town Corporation have been assisting the residents with truck-borne water but due to the high demand, the Corporation cannot service the entire area.
Chairman is urging WASA to rectify this problem and restore water for the residents of Sancho Road, School Trace and nearby environs.
