The Princes Town Regional Corporation (PTRC) says it will step in to cut and clean school premises across the region ahead of the reopening of the new school term, following the continued absence of URP and CEPEP workers.
In a media release, the Corporation said Chairman Gowrie Roopnarine and councillors agreed at the most recent Physical Infrastructure Committee meeting to provide the support. The initiative will be carried out over the next two weeks to ensure schools are ready to receive students.
“The Corporation has taken decisive action to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of school premises across the region,” the release said.
