The To­ba­go Emer­gency Man­age­ment Agency (TEMA) has con­firmed there are re­ports of flood­ing in parts of Scar­bor­ough, To­ba­go, this morn­ing.

In an ad­vi­so­ry is­sued a short while ago, TEMA is en­cour­ag­ing mo­torists to pro­ceed with cau­tion.

Traf­fic is be­ing redi­rect­ed along Gar­den Side in­to North Side Con­nec­tor Road -- along the Gar­den Side Carpark -- be­cause of flood­ing along Car­ring­ton Street, in front of the Board­walk.

To­ba­go has been ex­pe­ri­enc­ing heavy rain­fall this morn­ing.

The Met Ser­vice has ad­vised that there is a medi­um (60%) chance of iso­lat­ed heavy show­ers and thun­der­storms for both To­ba­go and Trinidad, to­day.  In ad­di­tion, gusty winds and street/flash flood­ing are like­ly in ar­eas of heavy show­ers/thun­der­storms.
