Ryan Ba­choo

Robert Du­mas is the new chair­man of the T&T Can­cer So­ci­ety. This was an­nounced on Tues­day morn­ing as the new board was re­vealed.

The com­po­si­tion of the new Board is as fol­lows:

· Robert Du­mas – Chair­man

· Dr. Mar­lene Sukhdeo - First Vice Chair­man

· Ar­i­ana Kr­ishingee - Sec­ond Vice Chair­man

· Dr. As­ante Le Blanc – Di­rec­tor

· Giselle Don­awa – Di­rec­tor

· Stephanie Sab­ga Pow­ers - Di­rec­tor / Sec­re­tary

· An­drew De Fre­itas - Di­rec­tor / Trea­sur­er

· Dr. Vas­ant Bas­deo - Co-Opt­ed Mem­ber

· Rayad Em­rit - Co-Opt­ed Mem­ber

Pre­vi­ous chair, Dr. As­ante Le Blanc, will stay on as a di­rec­tor. The state­ment said, "The TTCS is con­fi­dent that this new­ly formed Board, with its col­lec­tive ex­per­tise and com­mit­ment, will con­tin­ue to up­hold the val­ues and mis­sion of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Can­cer So­ci­ety. We are ex­cit­ed about the op­por­tu­ni­ties that lie ahead and re­main stead­fast in our com­mit­ment to a fu­ture free from the bur­den of can­cer."
