Three months af­ter gun­men mur­dered his broth­er Kevon “Faces” An­drews, Key­on An­drews suf­fered a sim­i­lar fateon Thurs­day when a gun­man brazen­ly shot him in the street.An­drews, 30, of Or­chid Gar­dens, Pleas­antville, was walk­ing along Cha­co­nia Av­enue around 9 am with Ker­ry Richards.

The men worked at the San Fer­nan­do City Cor­po­ra­tion and were stand­ing in front of the Dis­trict Of­fice when a gun­man ap­proached and shot them sev­er­al times.

An­drews, a san­i­ta­tion work­er, died on the scene while some­one took Richards to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal, where he re­mains ward­ed in a crit­i­cal con­di­tion.
It was a hor­rif­ic scene for Pleas­antville res­i­dents and passers­by, who saw An­drew’s body ly­ing at the cor­ner of Pleas­antville Cir­cu­lar and Cha­co­nia Av­enue. It is a busy area with the Pleas­antville Plaza, Pleas­antville Health Cen­tre, Pleas­antville Com­mu­ni­ty Cen­tre and four schools near­by. Rel­a­tives gath­ered at the scene, get­ting a full view as South­ern Di­vi­sion Crime Scene In­ves­ti­ga­tors combed the area and re­cov­ered nine bul­let cas­ings.

The grief was all too fa­mil­iar for An­drews’ moth­er, De­bra Reid, who was al­ready strug­gling to come to terms with the killing of her oth­er son, Kevon

Ried could hard­ly speak at the scene.

Kevon, a Trini­bad artiste, and his friend Kris­t­ian Lind­say were at Build­ing C, Or­chid Gar­dens, on June 28.

Po­lice said around 8 pm, gun­men ran in­to the build­ing and shot them. An­drews died at the scene while Lind­say died at the hos­pi­tal an hour lat­er.
Po­lice said they knew An­drews as a rob­bery and drug of­fend­er.
